Johanna Goodman
“There is an open space of time in between natural events and monuments where magic is possible. We mark time with repetition of these events, like the sun rising each day. The natural world is, for me, a mirror of the spirit. In my work I go into the in-between time, choosing to hold it, while animating my vision of it. In this most exciting time of becoming and anticipation, I see the beauty of the spirit when it is set free and all dreams are possible.” |

This knowledge lead Christopher to Colorado State University, where he studied fine art, as well as graphic design/illustration. Lisa Bennison Noll
Lisa uses traditional media as well as "found" materials to create dreamlike multi-media work inspired by the high-country of Colorado's Summit County which she calls home. Shadows, trees, lines in the snow, etc. combine in her work to create a unified whole. |
Jason Najarak
"My only regret," Jason says, "is that I can't possibly have the time to do all the artistic projects that I envision. I would like my epitaph to read" Just one more brushstroke Lord"." While a painter and stuntman in Hollywood, actor and noted art connoisseur Vincent Price encouraged Jason to actively pursue a career in art, and at age twenty-five, Jason set off to see the world. In Europe, he managed to meet art world luminaries including Picasso, Fuchs, Hausner, Dali, Chagall and Feilini |
Pan DaQisng
Pan’s work evokes traditional Chinese themes with a contemporary, western approach to composition and color. His watercolors have a dimensionality atypical of the style and an aliveness and energy that leaps off the paper. Pan (an exception to our Colorado artists focus) is an internationally collected artist with work in the Museum of Modern Art, the Kodak Collection and many private collections. Born in Guangzhou (Canton) in 1937, Pan studied art from an early age and is still actively involved in local art communities. |
Mark Ortiz
Mark's vivid, geometrically patterned paintings are the result of his intent to "revive and reshape the ancient Indian art form into paintings that have meaning and signficance in today's society." Mark was born and raised on the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico. It was there his artistic talent was encouraged by his grandparents and other mentors including Frank Howell and Nieto. |
