Iris Gallery focuses on fine art from exceptional but lesser-known Colorado artists and fine, functional craft from all over North America.   Bill Bickerton, owner, and Laurie Bartee, manager, bring their eclectic artistic backgrounds and years of gallery experience to finding fun, unique and beautiful art and furnishings for your home or as that perfect gift.   The Iris Gallery is a fun, bright, relaxed space for anyone looking at art or fine craft – novices and experts alike.

With a focus on Colorado painters, the Iris team really knows the artists and their work while providing a wide range of styles and media - oil and watercolor, landscape and still life, abstract and traditional realism.   Just ask us about a painting or artist, if we haven’t already offered, and we’ll tell you stories and information about all the artists we represent.

Two of our key artists are Majid Kahhak, from Carbondale and Nancy J. Hill from Littleton.  Majid works in oil in a free, exuberant and highly textured style and moves from beautiful Colorado landscapes to large, almost abstract expressionist pieces.  Nancy works in a realistic style using thin layers of paint in the style of the old masters to create beautiful, realistic still lifes and landscapes which glow with natural light and her own personal style.

We look for quality work from craftspeople and artists dedicated to their work who have a twist of fun in their approach.  Many of our craftspeople offer custom work so bring your ideas and color palettes and we’ll see what we can find for you.
